Expect traditional pub grub with hearty portions, although there is a light bite menu. The Tithe Barn has a selection of 18 fruit wines, 16 regular wines, 3 guest ales and excellent disabled facilities inside and out. Watch out for regular medieval, Victorian and Bavarian theme nights. Owd Nell's Tavern, Bilsborrow is situated on the Lancaster Canal and serves a good choice of cask kept ales and lagers with wines from around the world, as well as home-made beef steak and kidney pudding, local game in season, chargrilled Aberdeen Angus Scottish steaks and fresh fish from Fleetwood. Relax on the canalside patios were you can eat and drink whilst watching the canal barges and ducks. The Fleece Inn, Dolphinholme is famous for award-winning food, drink, and service, located just by the Forest of Bowland - area of outstanding natural beauty. The Fleece Inn dates back to the early eighteenth century as an inn for travellers.
